Terms of use

Last updated: 21 September 2026

These terms apply between you, the organisation on whose Atlassian site Statuswatch is installed, in Jira or in Jira and Confluence, and the developer, Michael Klotz ("we"). They apply together with the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, under which you obtained the app. Where the two conflict on ordering, trials, payment, renewal or refunds, Atlassian's terms decide, because Atlassian performs those things.

What you may do

While a licence is active, or no licence is required for your site, everyone on your site may use Statuswatch for your organisation's own work. The project page can show figures per assignee; whether and how you may use figures about individual people is governed by the employment, data protection and co-determination rules that apply to you, and is your responsibility. You may not resell it, offer it to others as a service of your own, or try to get round its licence check.

Ordering, trial and payment

You order, try, pay for, renew and cancel Statuswatch through Atlassian, at the prices on the Marketplace listing and summarised here. We never receive or hold your payment details. Refunds follow Atlassian's policy and are requested from Atlassian.

When a trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription lapses, the app stops measuring and says so; your configuration is kept and the settings page stays usable. What exactly happens is described here.

Your data

Statuswatch runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform and sends nothing outside Atlassian. What it reads and the one record it stores are set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. Your data remains yours; we have no access to your site or to the app's storage on it.

Support

Support is by email at support@status-watch.io, in English or German. We answer requests that stop the app working within 24 hours and everything else within five working days. Support covers the current version.

Changes to the app

We may change, add or remove features. We will not remove the ability to read and export your own configuration. Versions that need new permissions are never installed without an admin's consent; that is Atlassian's rule and ours.

Warranty

We build Statuswatch carefully and it tells you when it could not count something properly rather than guessing. Beyond that it is provided as it is: we do not promise that it is free of faults, or that its figures are fit for a purpose such as contractual service levels, invoicing or payroll. You remain responsible for decisions taken on its figures.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any twelve months is limited to what you paid for Statuswatch in those twelve months, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect loss.

Ending

You can stop at any time by cancelling through Atlassian or uninstalling the app; uninstalling removes everything the app stored from your site. Jira fields that one of your admins created from the app's field type are yours and stay until you delete them. We may end these terms if you seriously breach them. If we ever discontinue the app, we will say so on this site and on the listing at least 90 days before.

Law

These terms are governed by Italian law. The courts at the developer's place of business have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you another.

Changes to these terms

Material changes are published here with a new date at the top, and apply from your next renewal.
